I am excited to announce a new fundraising challenge that I put together for No Kid Hungry, a group that helps feed hungry children throughout the country. The issue of food insecurity is all the more urgent given the challenges caused by the Covid-19 outbreak. My fundraiser is called the "Free Throw Challenge" and everyone can participate. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A BASKETBALL PLAYER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE! There are two ways you can help:

1. You can follow our Instagram @hoops4thehungry and join our team by clicking the link in our bio. Once you join our team you will be given a link to a donation page that is under your name that you can send to all your friends and family and ask for them to join you, and our team, in raising money for the fight against childhood hunger. 2. Second, you can donate through our homepage. You can do that in two ways: you can make a flat donation to No Kid Hungry, or you can donate based on the total amount of free throws made throughout the challenge. I have already gone to friends and family and raised up to $5,000, however – there is a catch – and this is where the challenge comes in:

The challenge is as follows: Video yourself taking as many free throws, self rebounding, as you can in one minute. Start the clock on your first make and GO! For every shot that is made and posted, I get $5, up to the current raised amount of $5,000 (I hope to grow this with your help!). In order to get the pledge of $5,000, I need to get 1,000 made free throws documented - So… please join and get out there and shoot! Record a video of yourself completing the challenge, and then DM it to us on Instagram @hoops4thehungry. We will post it, along with the amount of shots you made, and the total amount of money you raised. You must join our team in order to send a video.

Donations of any amount make a difference and we need everyone's help to reach our goal. It takes a team to win a game – so please donate, join the team and fundraise, or just send us your videos so we can reach our goal! Thank you for all of your help and let the challenge begin!
