Food has always been a major part of my life. As a toddler, my father owned an ice cream truck and some of my earliest memories are of us riding around New Jersey selling ice cream. Well, i remember eating the ice cream more than selling the ice cream. When i was five my Dad opened an Italian restaurant with my aunt and uncles in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey. Next to the restaurant was an attached apartment where my father and I lived. My after school snack was a slice of pizza. I may have eaten Raviolis for about 2 years straight because that was all i wanted to eat. Food was how my family made a living and is why i never went hungry growing up. It wasn't until i was older that i realized the impact food had on me. Cooking was in my blood long before i ever started cooking
